How do I get my South Tyrol Guest Pass?

You can apply for the South Tyrol Guest Pass online from 00:00 on the day of arrival using your mobile device. It is then valid until midnight on the day of departure. The Guest Pass is available in two formats:

  • As a digital ticket (PDF) for mobile devices (smartphones), which can be used directly via the smartphone or printed out and taken along in paper form;
  • As a digital ticket to add to the so-called "Wallet" on smartphones (e.g. Google Wallet, Apple Wallet or similar app).

How do I use my Alto Adige Guest Pass?

The Südtirol Guest Pass (QR code of the digital ticket) must be scanned at the blue validation device on the bus, at the train stations and cable car stations every time you start your journey. If the Südtirol Guest Pass is valid, a green OK symbol appears on the screen or the acoustic signal of the validation device confirms the validation.

To see real-time timetables and all connections, download the südtirolmobil app down.

Important:

  • The information with your full name and your period of stay must be correct
  • The card is valid for 7 days from the first validation
  • If you stay longer than 7 days, you must apply for a new Südtirol Guest Pass after the 7-day validity period has expired
  • Validate the Südtirol Guest Pass at the start of each trip
